Welcome to the home page of East Ruston Parish Council

East Ruston is a village in North Norfolk. Situated about 5 miles north of Wroxham next to the town of Stalham.

The approximately 600 residents have the benefit of a village school and a unique village hall which was donated to the village in 1928 by Sir James Roll who became the Lord Mayor of London. The Butchers Arms public house is presently closed awaiting refurbishment but takeaway meals are available.

Many will have heard of the renowned East Ruston Gardens which bring many visitors to the village.

Unfortunately the parish church of St Mary's is now unused, and locked.
The churchyard is still used for funerals.

The village has Weavers Way walk around one edge of it and also has many acres of Poors Allotment land which is open to walkers.
